Do the Math: Compare the Cost Per Serving to other protein powders and you'll realize the Gold Standard difference. It's easy to calculate. Just take the price of your protein product and divide it by the number of servings in the tub. That's how much protein you're getting for your dollar. Gold Standard 100% Whey provides ON's legendary quality with exceptional Cost Per Serving value.

Whey protein is popular with active adults because it contains all the necessary nutrients to promote muscle growth and also helps maintain the muscle you already have. Whey protein isolates are the purest form of whey and the primary ingredient in Gold Standard 100% Whey. Each serving provides 24 grams of whey protein with 1.5g fat, 55mg of cholesterol, minimal lactose and other stuff you can do without. There's no doubt this is the standard all other proteins are measured against.

No doubt it is one of the best protein for muscle strength

Overall quality is nice. French Vanilla Crème flavor was pretty good (I like Beverly International Vanilla best so I rated it 9/10). Only reason I rated it less than 10 overall was I like my protein shakes to thicken up if I add more protein. It seems that, no matter how much powder I add, the consistency remains very thin. I bought the five pound tub, as it's the best value. Price to value/quality is A+.

Mixes well with water and almond milk. Taste is good but I don't hold it in such high regard as the other reviews do; it's not bad, that's all. I'll just stick to Mocca Cappuccino

I decided to try this when it was on sale. I got a large container of the Mocha because of the reviews on here, and I definitely regret it. It's pretty gross to me. Tastes like chocolate gone bad. Has a bit of sourness to it. Vanilla ice cream is a bit like super sweet powdered milk, but it's not bad. Double rich chocolate had a milk chocolatey taste, wasn't bad. It was somehow sweet, but not sweet. Like chemicals tricking the brain. Honestly, I'll be going back to my BSN Syntha 6 Isolate (lower calorie version) powders. They're way better tasting, it's like an actual treat after a workout. They're smoother too. With BSN, I could put some into a blender with spinach, banana, ice, and a little water.. and it would mask the spinach taste, and feel more like an ice cream shake. The ON could not cover the spinach taste and made it much worse. It seems like this Optimum Nutrition powder is pretty good and I respect the product, but it's just not as tasty as the stuff I'm used to. Not very excited about my shake today.

I’ve used this product for a week and so I’ve liked what I’ve read and the fact they say the fallow gmp and the flavors not bad it’s feels heavy when you drink it, but I didn’t buy it for the flavor I bought it for the results and so far I feel fatter the hell and I know I’m hitting it hard at the gym and eating healthy

I purchased this product over the weekend which arrived on Monday morning. That is what I call top quality service and speedy delivery at its finest. Well done Now to the product. I have to say that I am quite disappointed with it. The way this product is described and how it is priced, I would have expected more from the product in relation to taste. It was no better than PHD's Whey protein. In fact, if you were to do a blind taste test on them both then I would argue that you would struggle to tell the difference between them both, except that even in a blender, Gold Standard 100% Whey doesn't mix well at all, leaving a grit-like substance in the bottom of the glass. I guess that's the beauty of a good marketing team. I've only had one scoop from the bag and I am contemplating offloading it to someone else should they want it. Yes, I do find that bad. I looked at a fair amount of different protein products before choosing Gold Standard. Some, that I know taste and mix far better, that cost far less than this, even at the discounted price I got this for. I only decided to go for this product because I felt like a change but ended up with yet another product that reinforces my belief of sticking with what you know. Overall I am very disappointed with Gold Standard 100% Whey and I will never buy it again. The only shining light from all of this is the superbly quick delivery and service from

Chocolate mint is my favorite flavor ever! Please start offering this flavor in a 10 lb bag.Currently I'm using Extreme Milk Chocolate, I mix in a tablespoon of powdered peanut butter and it is amazing. Mixes up smooth without any grit or chalkiness. Always a tasty post workout treat. Highly recommended!

So basically im a Sci-tec nutrition fan.Ive used their whey protein (iso) standard for 9 months ive used all their flavors and they were some strong and some really bad.So i saw -25% off optimum nutrition and i had to try this because ive heard its no1 brand in the states(sci tec no1 in europe). So i got the extreme milkk chocolate after ive seen really high ratings.Well to start with the flavour its really low and i kkinda like that ive tried it in water (cant tell its chocolate u just feel a little bit) and in milk ive felt the same.I kinda like that because sci tecs chocolate was really good with milk amazing i would say but with water was kinda bad cause its really strong in flavouring.About mixing its amazing i shake it 3 times max and its done.Overall if you find it on low price worth your money but i wouldnt say in flavour rating its a flavour that will keep you there.i got 1kg and i think its too much to get on the same flavour.

Extreme Milk Chocolate tastes great, does not upset my stomach like some other proteins. Wish I could find a good flavor in "natural".

Directions For Gold Standard 100% Whey:

SPOON STIRRED:Gold Standard 100% Whey™ is INSTANTIZED. That means if you forgot your shaker cup or don’t have time to get out the blender, you can just add one rounded scoop of Gold Standard 100% Whey™ to a glass filled with 180-240 ml (6-8 oz) of water or your favorite beverage. Then mix it up with a spoon. Stir for about 20 seconds or until powder is completely dissolved.

TIP: Adjust the intensity of your Gold Standard 100% Whey™ by varying the amount of liquid that you use to prepare it. For a bolder flavor with slightly more body and sweetness, mix each scoop with 4-6 oz of water, milk, or your favorite beverage. For a milder tasting, less sweet shake, use 8-10 oz of liquid per scoop.

SHAKER CUP: Bringing a shaker cup with you to the gym is the best way to get a powerful dose of protein immediately after your workout. Just pour in 6-8 oz of your preferred beverage and then add one rounded scoop of Gold Standard 100% Whey™ to your shaker cup. Cover and shake for 25-30 seconds.

BLENDER: Add one rounded scoop of Gold Standard 100% Whey™ to a blender filled with 6-8 oz of water, nonfat milk, or your favorite beverage. Blend for 20-30 seconds. Then add 1 or 2 ice cubes and blend for an additional 30 seconds

SHAKE UP YOUR SHAKE: By adding fresh or frozen fruits, peanut butter, flaxseed oil, coconut and other high-energy ingredients, you can transform your shake into a delicious high-protein meal.

STACK YOUR SHAKE: You can make Gold Standard 100% Whey™ an even more powerful recovery product by adding supplements like creatine, glutamine, BCAA, and concentrated carbohydrate powders.

THINK OUTSIDE THE GLASS: Gold Standard 100% Whey™ can be used for more than just protein shakes. Try mixing a scoop into oatmeal, yogurt, or the milk that you pour over your morning breakfast cereal. Better yet, boost the protein content of muffins, cookies, brownies, etc. by adding a scoop or two to your baked goods recipes.

SUGGESTED USE: Consume approximately 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per day through a combination of high protein foods and protein supplements. For even better results, consume your daily protein allotment over several small meals spread evenly throughout the day.

Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product contains whey derived from dairy and lecithin (to improve mixability) derived from soybeans. For use as a food supplement only. Do not use for weight reduction. Those who are pregnant, nursing or taking medication are advised to consult a physician before use. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
